A court has recognized the evidence collected by the Dagestan Office of the Investigative sufficient to convict Gadzhiis Osmanov, Abdulakhet Abdulragimov, Aidimir and Ibret Gyulmagomedov. Depending on the role of each one, they were found guilty of cimres under Part 2, items “g” and “h” of Article 105, Part 4, items “b” and “c” of Article 162, Part 4 of Article 166 and Part 2 of Article 222 of the RF Penal Code (murder committed by a group of people aggravated by robbery; robbery committed on a very large scale involving grievous bodily harm; car theft using violence dangerous for life; illegal circulation of firearms committed by a group of people).

He was found guilty of crimes under part 2 of Article 210 (membership in a criminal community), Part 2 of Article 209 (membership in a stable armed gang), Part 2, items “a’, “g” and “h’ of Article 105 (murder of two or more people committed on a contract in an organized group), Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2, items “a”, “g” and “h” of Article 105 (attempted murder of two or more people committed on a contract in an organized group), Part 4, items “a” and “b” of Article 162 (robbery committed by an organized group), Part 4 of Article 166 (theft of a vehicle committed with a threat of violence dangerous for the life and health), Part 3 of Article 222 of the RF Penal Code (illegal purchase, transfer, storage or carrying of firearms and ammunition committed by an organized group).

A court has recognized the evidence collected by the Karelia Office of the Investigative Committee sufficient to convict former deputy minister for construction, housing utilities and power of Karelia Andrei Lychenkov as well as deputy head of the capital construction office of the Capital Construction Department under the Karelia Ministry for Construction Andrei Frolov. They were found guilty of taking a bribe by an official committed by a group of people in conspiracy with extortion and on a large scale under Part 5, items “a”, “b” and “c” of Article 290 of the RF Penal Code.

The Altai Territory Office of the Investigative Committee has finished criminal proceedings against former head of the preschool education office of the Altai Territory Education and Youth Policy Directorate and her boyfriend, CEO of OOO VIENTO, a limited liability company. They are charged with a fraud committed by a group of people in conspiracy using their official positions and on a very large scale under Part 4 of Article 159 of the RF Penal Code.

An explosion happened on the morning of 11 December 2016, in a production workshop of OOO Intekhprom, a limited liability company, in the town of Nizhnekamsk. The explosion led to a fire and partial collapse of the building. At least 5 people died at the scene, six more were taken to a hospital, including 3 in grave condition. The Tatarstan Office of the Investigative Committee has opened an investigation in safety breach at explosive facilities entailing death of two or more people by negligence under Part 3 of Article 217 of the RF Penal Code.
