Lipetsk Region investigators look into disappearance of child

The Lipetsk Region Office of the Investigative Committee has launched an investigation in murder under Part 2 of Article 105 of the RF Criminal Code after a 3-year-old boy went missing in Terbuny District.

According to investigators, the boy went missing at about 3 PM 13 July 2017, 2 km off the settlement of Mikhailovka while his father was haymowing having left the boy alone in his motorbike. When the father came back to the motorbike the boy was not there. He went looking for the boy, but couldn’t find him and reported him missing to the police.

The investigators have examined the scene and questioned boy’s relatives. In addition, investigative and search operations are underway to find out all the circumstances surrounding the incident and to locate the missing child. Volunteers are helping with the search. The investigation continues.
