A court has recognized the evidence gathered by the Yaroslavl Region Office of the Investigative Committee as sufficient to convict 3 local women. Depending on the role of each one, they were found guilty of a number of crimes against children: torturing under Part 2, items “a”, “d” and “f” of Article 117, deliberate infliction of grievous bodily harm entailing death under Part 4 of Article 111 and failure to do the duty of a parent under Article 156 of the RF Criminal Code.

The Saint Petersburg Directorate of the Investigative Committee has charged Dmitry Kostygin, 45, a shareholder of a company registered abroad and being a founder of NAO Yulmart, with loan fraud under Part 4 of Article 159.1 of the RF Criminal Code.

A court has recognized the evidence collected by the Investigative Committee’s Head Office as sufficient to convict former acting president of OAO KB MAST-Bank Alexander Chemetov. He was found guilty of grand defrauding under Part 4 of Article 160 of the RF Criminal Code.

A TV channel has showed a coverage of a conflict between residents of the village of Vyalki, Ramenskoye District, Moscow Region and a 15-year-old girl that happened in 2015. In the summer of 2015, the 15-year-old and her friends were at a playground when an SUV drove into it and aggressive man and woman got out of the vehicle. The girl tried to run away, but the couple followed her. They shoved her into the vehicle, blocked the doors, threatened her and drove away. They then took the girl to her home and passed on to her parents. This way the couple reportedly wanted to punish the girl for having thrown a plastic bottle into the head of their son. The journalists gave other examples of couple’s aggressive behavior and possible beating of the girl.
