Investigators ask court lenient restraint to one of managers of Domodedovo airport

During an investigation against former managers of Domodedovo airport over crimes under Part 3 of Article 238 of the RF Penal Code (fulfillment of work or rendering services that do not meet safety standards and have entailed death of two or more people by negligence), the investigators have decided to ask a court for more lenient restraint to former head of the Russian office of Airport Management Company Limited Svetlana Trishina.

The investigators charged the owner of Domodedovo airport Dmitry Kamenshchik, managing director of ZAO Domodedovo Airport Aviation Security Andrey Danilov, director of the airport Vyacheslav Nekrasov and Svetlana Trishina. Danilov, Nekrasov and Trishina were remanded in custody pending trial, while Kamenshchik is under house arrest.

The investigators decided to ask the court to place Svetlana Trishina under house arrest because they have learnt that her underage child is in need of constant care. The motion has already been filed with the Basmanny District Court of Moscow.
