In Moscow, charges pressed against suspect of killing 4-year-old girl

The Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee is investigating a murder of a 4-year-old girl committed in Moscow. A 39-year-old baby sitter, a citizen of one of countries in Central Asia, was charged today with a crime under Part 2 of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of a child).

It became known earlier, on the morning of 29 February 2016, the body of a 4-year-old girl with signs of violent death was found on a fire site in Narodnogo Opolcheniya Street in the city of Moscow. The investigators have revealed that the baby sitter had waited until the parents and the elder child left the flat, killed the girl, set the flat on fire and left the scene.

The investigators have ordered a drug test and psychiatric evaluation of the suspect to find out her mental state. At present, the investigators are taking all possible measures to look into personality of the suspect and the motives. The investigation is ongoing.
