On 14 April 2016, a complaint was received to a live Q&A session with the Russian President that wages had not been paid for more than 5 months to workers of BTS-Gidrostroy who built a bridge in North Ossetia-Alania.

The Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee immediately launched an investigation into a crime under Part 3 of Article 145.1 of the RF Penal Code (nonpayment of wages and other payments for over two months committed out of mercenary or other personal motives that entailed serious consequences).

The company’s offices have been searched and documents and electronic data carriers relevant for the investigation have been confiscated. The staff are being questioned. All possible measures are going to be taken to compensate for the damage done to the victims. The investigation is ongoing.
