Investigative Committee staff hold community work day in sponsored Murom Infant Home in Vladimir Region

The employees of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee together with the staff of the Vladimir Region Office have once more visited the stat-funded healthcare facility in Vladimir Region, the Murom Infant Home (specialized) to do some community work there.

They set up marquees for junior and medium groups of children to play in, cleaned the area, made some flowerbeds.

Some help was provided to the facility for the funds raised by the staff of the Investigative Committee: they gave the facility refrigerators, a washing machine, a trampoline, children’s clothes and some pictures.

Employees of the education office of the Investigative Committee and representatives of the Vladimir Region Office of the Investigative Committee held a working meeting with the head of Murom urban district and Director of the municipal state-funded institution “Organizational Provision” to discuss further cooperation and aid to Murom Infant Home. During the meeting they reached an agreement to install an anti-ice system on the roof of the facility and to set up additional fence around the boiler house.

The Investigative Committee has patronized the Murom Infant Home for several years now. It should be noted that the assistance is provided on regular basis and is extended to a number of similar social institutions. Almost all regional offices of the Investigative Committee made a decision to help children’s homes and other social facilities for children. The sponsorship is not limited to one-time presents for holidays. The staff of the investigative authorities if necessary take measures to organize provision of highly-qualified medical aid to seriously-ill inmates of the facilities, as well as assist with education and adjustment of orphans after they leave facilities.
