In Khabarovsk Territory, over 4 million rubles of wage arrears paid off to workers of enterprise in Komsomolsk-on-Amur thanks to local investigative authority

The Khabarovsk Territory Office of the Investigative Committee continue the investigation into a crime under Part 1 of Article 145.1 of the RF Penal Code (partial nonpayment of wages during more than 3 months).

In March 2016, employees of a commercial enterprise located in the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur complained to the police about overdue wages. The workers reported that there had been regular problems with nonpayment of wages since September 2015.

The Khabarovsk Territory Office of the Investigative Committee opened an investigation immediately. According to preliminary data, the management of the enterprise has over 6,412,000 rubles in debt to 48 of its workers. The investigators have talked to the CEO and chief accountant. The latter ones were persuaded and have already started to pay the arrears. By now the workers have been paid over 4 million rubles. The management of the enterprise promise to pay off the rest of the debt soon.

The operative support was provided by the officials of the Khabarovsk Territory Office of the Interior Ministry.

The investigation is under control of the senior officials of the local investigative authority.
