The Maritime Territory Office of the Investigative Committee has finished the investigation against two security guards of OAO Vladivostok Crushed Stone Plant Oleg Fetsych and Anton Tayursky. They are charged with a crime under Part 3 of Article 144 of the RF Penal Code (obstruction of legal professional activity of journalists by forcing them to refuse to spread the information aggravated by physical violence).

According to investigators, on the afternoon of 7 June 2016, the suspects got physical with a journalist of Chestny Detektiv (Honest Investigator, Rossiya 1 channel) TV show and threatened to kill him near the central entrance to the administration building of the Maritime Territory Office of the Federal Security Service in Aleutskaya street in the city of Vladivostok. The reason for the incident was a task to make a story for the TV show about an ongoing investigation against mayor of Vladivostok Igor Pushkaryov charged with acts of corruption.

The investigators have gathered enough evidence in the shortest time, so the criminal case has been sent to the prosecutor for the indictment to be approved and will then be referred to a court.
