In Maritime Territory, probe finished against acting chairman of Nakhodka urban district duma and deputy head of district

The Maritime Territory Office of the Investigative Committee has finished the investigation against acting chairman of the Nakhodka Urban District Duma Mikhail Pilipenko and Deputy Head of the Nakhodka Urban District Administration Aleksandr Belov. Depending on the role of each one they are charged with crimes under Part 1 of Article 286 (abuse of power) and Part 3 of Article 33, Part 1 of Article 286 of the RF Penal Code (complicity in abuse of power).

According to investigators, in June 2015, Pilipenko, aware issuing land use permission was beyond Belov’s responsibility, made sure that the latter made and signed a permit for two companies to use lands in the settlement of Vrangel for transportation and dumping of coal.

Because of their actions the Nakhodka Urban District budget did not get 4.5 million rubles in rent of the said lands.

The investigators have enough evidence so the criminal case with the approved indictment has been referred to court.

The crime had been revealed by officers of the Maritime Territory Office of the Federal Security Service.
