Probe finished into cruel murder of 4-year-old girl in Northwestern Moscow

The Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee has finished the investigation attains 39-year-old Gulchekhra Bobokulova charged with crimes under Part 2, item “c” of Article 105 (murder of a child), Part 2 of Article 167 (deliberate destruction of another’s property by arson) and Part 1 of Article 207 of the RF Penal Code (knowingly making a false communication about an act of terrorism).

On the morning of 29 February 2016, a body of a 4-year-old girl with signs of violent death was found at a fire site of a house in Narodnogo Opolcheniya Street in Moscow. According to investigators, the child’s babysitter Gulchekhra Bobokulova had waited till the parents left the flat with the elder child, and killed the girl. Then she set the place on fire and took off.

During the investigation, Bobokulova was tested and revealed signs of chronic mental disorder.

The investigators have enough evidence, so the criminal case has been forwarded for the determination to be approved to send the woman for compulsory treatment in mental hospital and then the case is going to be referred to court.
