The Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee is carrying out a preliminary check in an incident during which two teenagers got burns in southeastern Moscow.

It has been established that on the evening of 9 November 2016, two teenagers fell in a pit filled with boiling water near blocks of flat in 3^rd quarter, Kapotnya, Moscow. At the moment both of them are being treated in a hospital.

The investigators are examining the scene and questioning possible eye-witnesses. A procedural decision will be made following the check. In addition, the investigators are going to give legal assessment to the actions of those responsible for maintenance of the said area.
