Officials of the Kunashak District Administration bought housing in 2014 for orphans which was completely unfit for living in. This way, a damage of 878,000 rubles was caused the district budget and legal rights and interests of a person in need of housing were violated. The Chelyabinsk Region Office of the Investigative Committee has opened an investigation in excess of powers under Part 3, item “c” of Article 286 of the RF Penal Code.

As a result an orphan girl got housing that did not meet sanitary or technical requirements. The house has no water supply or sewage system, bathroom, doors between rooms while the walls are made of railway sleepers.

At present, investigators are carrying out urgent investigative operations to find out all the circumstances and to identify the persons involved in the crime. During the investigation, all necessary steps are going to be taken to restore the violated rights of the injured party and to reimburse the damage done to the budget. The investigation is under control of the senior officials of the regional investigative authority.
