The Moscow Region Directorate of the Investigative Committee has initiated criminal proceedings against an employee of the Emergency Ministry’s Moscow Directorate suspected of a murder under part 1 of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, on the night of 19 November two men confronted each other in the stairwell of a building in Trudovye Rezervy Street in the town of Krasnozavodsk. The Emergency Ministry employee stabbed the man during the fight. The victim died of the wound.

The suspect has been detained and is now expecting a restraint. The investigation is ongoing.
