The Sakhalin Region Office of the Investigative Committee has finished criminal proceedings against former CEO of Island Fish Factory, a close corporation, Natalya Kashkarova suspected of failure to pay wages under parts 1 and 2 of Article 145.1 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, Kashkarova did not pay wages to 267 workers from February 2015 to January 2016 in order to ensure constant and uninterrupted operation of the factory. The debt stood at more than 19 million rubles, which she had, because the factory settled with other contractors.

During the investigation, the debt was paid off in full.

The investigators have enough evidence, so the criminal case with the signed indictment will soon be referred to court.
