Another fact of stealing property from MiG corporation revealed


During an investigation into grand larceny from OAO MiG-Rost, an open corporation, the Major Cases Directorate of the Investigative Committee has revealed another major crime committed against the property of the Russian Federation. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against former CEO of OAO Helicopter Service Company Akim Noskov, former first deputy CEO of OAO Helicopter Service Company Alexey Andreyev, former deputy director of department of OAO Joint Aerial Construction Corporation Vladimir Yevdokimov, former CEO of ZAO Scientific and Technical Center Alexander Zolin and Alexey Ozerov suspected of a fraud under Part 4 of Article 159 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, the suspects were acting in an organized group, when in 2007-2009, they used a number of controlled firms to illegally get rights on government property of OAO Russian Aircraft Construction Corporation MiG worth at least 200 million rubles.

Yevdokimov and Zolin have been charged and remanded in custody pending trial. Ozerov remains in custody and Andreyev is wanted around the world.

Investigative and search operations are ongoing together with the Federal Security Service to prosecute all the involved in the crime.
