In Sverdlovsk Region, probe finished against man charged with killing six

The 4th department of the Investigative Committee’s Directorate based in the city of Yekaterinburg has finished investigation against Arsen Bairambekov. He is charged with murder of two or more people and illegal circulation of firearms under part 2 of Article 105 and part 1 of Article 222 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, Bairambekov committed 6 murders in Sverdlovsk Region between 2002 and 2014. In 2002 and 2010, he shot to death two businessmen from Yekaterinburg for a reward. The men who had ordered those two murders have also been prosecuted.

In 2014, being interested in occultism Bairambekov killed four residents of Sverdlovsk Region who had not permanent residence and abused alcohol. During the murders Bairambekov followed the rules of offering: he killed at night, in the woods, near a fire in a circle of stones and accompanied the crime by praying.

The investigators revealed that before the crimes Bairambekov had served in the Dagestan police force during a year. Three psychiatric evaluations found him sane.

The investigators have enough evidence so the criminal case will soon be sent for the indictment to be signed.
