The Saratov Region Office of the Investigative Committee has launched a check into media reports on attempted rape of a paramedic.

According to preliminary data, on 11 February 2017, the paramedic arrived to a flat in Shelkovichnaya Street in the town of Saratov to attend an emergency call. Friends of the man, who had made the call, presumably offered the paramedic some intimate relations, which she reported to the police at once.

At present, the check is underway to find out all the circumstances surrounding the incident, and soon explanations are going to be received from each of the involved. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
