A video showing some teenage girls beating and humiliating their peer has appeared in a talk show of a federal TV channel and in social media.

Following the order of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee the Irkutsk Region investigative authority has launched a check and identified the 14-year-old girls on file at a juvenile delinquency office.

Investigators are going to check the conditions the girls are being raised under; if there were good reasons for an orphanage to pass one of the girls to the care of her grandmother; how efficient the local juvenile commission worked and what psychological assistance was provided in the school the girls go to.
