The information spread by mass media referring to some unknown sources that the arrested property has been returned to Yevgenia Vasilyeva is untrue. During the probe investigators arrested Vasilyeva’s bank accounts, jewelry, real estate and paintings. After an expert examination only paintings were released as they were of no value. As for the rest of the property, Vasilyeva’s lawyers asked courts to release it, but all their petitions were denied.
