A meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Major-General Igor Krasnov with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt Muhammad el-Badri has taken place today in the Russian Investigative Committee.

Current matters and perspectives of cooperation between the Russian and Egyptian agencies in investigation of a terrorist attack in the Airbus A321 with Russian citizens on board, which took place on 31 October 2015 over Sinai Peninsula, were discussed during the meeting.

The sides agreed upon further cooperation to find out all the circumstances surrounding the terrorist attack and bringing perpetrators for criminal liability.
