Alexander Bastrykin gives orders to look into death of miners in Chelyabinsk Region

By order of the Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin the Acting Head of the Chelyabinsk Region Office of the Russian Investigative Committee has been dispatched to the scene of the incident in the Tsentralnaya Mine of the Yuzhuralzoloto Gruppa Kompaniy Company. He is ordered to create a task group, consisting of the most experienced investigators and criminalists with experience in investigation of similar cases in order to find out all the consequences surrounding the incident.

The Chairman of the Investigative committee also ordered management of the regional Office to give comprehensive legal assessment to actions and inaction of all persons, involved into activities of the company.

Two miners have died today in Chelyabinsk Region. The Chelyabinsk Region Office of the Russian Investigative Committee has launched a probe in violation of labour protection rules, leading to death of two persons under Part 3 of Article 143 of the RF Penal Code.

As of now it is know that the miners died in a face fall.

Medical aid is being rendered to the rescued miner.

The criminal investigation is ongoing.
