Chairman of Investigative Committee orders appealing cancelling of criminal case against man, who blocked way to ambulance car in Moscow

Alexander Bastrykin has ordered the Head of the Moscow Investigative Head Office of the Investigative Committee to appeal decision of inter-district prosecutor on cancelling of criminal case against a man in hooliganism, who blocked the way for an ambulance car in Moscow, and reach the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation of necessary.

On 20 April 2017, a driver of a SUV, moving through Solnechnaya Street in Moscow, blocket the way to an ambulance car on call, that moved the same way as the accused. The SUV driver slowed down and came to a complete stop and started arguing with the ambulance driver. The Moscow Office of the Investigative Committee has launched a probe in hooliganism under Part 1 of Article 213 of the RF Penal Code.

The investigation has revealed that the SUV driver from 2016 to 2017 received more than more than 20 administrative infractions for traffic rules violations. The Investigative Committee will react to every case of traffic rules violations, as every single one of them can cause trouble, especially for ambulance cars.
