Investigation of criminal cases against two participants of unauthorized rally in Moscow concluded

The Major Cases Directorate of the Investigative Committee has concluded investigation into criminal cases against participant of the unauthorized rally on 26 March 2017 inMoscow – Yuri Kuliy and Stanislav Zimovets. They are accused in use of violence against a representative of the power under Part 1 of Article 318 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, on 26 March 2017, Zimovets being on Pushkinskaya Square has thrown a brick into National Guard serviceman during an unauthorized campaign, inflicting pain to him. Meanwhile, Kuliy, according to investigators, attacked the police officer.

Gathered evidence, testimony of witnesses and the accused, video tapes and other information proves guilt of the accused.

Criminal cases against Kuliy and Zimovets are separated and being referred to Prosecutor's Office for indictment approval and subsequent referring to a court. Investigation against other persons involved is ongoing.
