The Major Cases Directorate of the Investigative Committee has concluded investigation into criminal cases against participant of the unauthorized rally on 26 March 2017 inMoscow – Alexander Shpakov. He is accused in use of violence against          a representative of the power under Part 1 of Article 318 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, on 26 March 2017 Shpakov, being on Tverskaya Street during an unauthorized rally tried to open a police van with detained citizens on board, several times hit a policemen in the face.

Evidence, video tape, testimony of witnesses and other information prove guilt of Shpakov in the crime.

Shpakov and his lawyer got acquainted with the case materials. The case is being referred to Prosecutor’s Office for indictment approval due to sufficiency of evidence. The case will be referred to court.
