In Moscow, check launched in injuring passengers of Moscow-Bangkok flight

The Moscow Interregional Transport Office of the Investigative Committee has launched a check in injuries sustained by passengers of Moscow-Bangkok flight.

According to preliminary data, a Boeing 777 operated by Aeroflot airlines left Sheremetyevo airport and got into turbulence today at about 2:50 AM, 40 minutes before landing at the airport in Bangkok. Some of the passengers were injured.

At present, investigators are running necessary checks to find out all the circumstances of and reasons for the incident. The crew and passengers are going to be questioned as soon as they are back in Moscow. Meanwhile, the investigators have requested necessary information from the airlines and are working to confirm the number of the injured.

A procedural decision will be made following the check.
