Case against three members of banned extremist Misanthropic Division referred to court

The Investigative Committee’s Head Office has finished the investigation against members and heads of divisions of Misanthropic Division, an extremist community prohibitied in the Russian Federation, Vitaly Tsaruk, Viktor Pekhterov and Kirill Khalepo charged with 9 counts of extremism and terrorism-related crimes.

Investigators have revealed that in October 2013, Dmitry Pavlov, a Belorussian citizen, racist and neo-Nazi created Misanthropic Division which acted via Internet.

The materials posted on different websites aimed at disparagement of Caucasian and Asian national (ethnic) groups, incitement of hatred and enmity to Jews, Negroid race, Muslims, propaganda of the Division’s ideology and activities, Promotion of Nazi (fascism) ideology, racism, justification of extremism and terrorism.

All the accused have been held in custody.

Prosecutor has singed the indictment, so the case has been referred to the Moscow District Military Court.
