The Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee continues investigating a murder of a lawyer under Part 1 of Article 105 and illegal circulation of firearms under Part 1 of Article 222 of the RF Penal Code.

As became known earlier, on the evening of 26 April 2017, an unidentified man followed the 40-year-old woman into a residential building in Altuvyevskoye Highway in Moscow and shot her at least twice and took off. The lawyer died on the scene.

Investigators and officers of the Moscow crime detection department identified and held today’s morning suspect - 42-year-old Marat Yanbukhtin.

By now Yanbukhtin has been delivered to the investigative office for interrogation after which he is going to be charged and taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
