Charmin of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has congratulated Ilya Glazunov, people’s painter of the USSR, chancellor of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture on his birthday.

The Chairman noted achievements of the outstanding painter of modern times, who implemented a lot of wonderful ideas and stressed that Mr. Glazunov’s work “is filled with love to his native country and its many-century history, that it strikes the viewers with impressions and emotions of Master’s perception. Your contribution in the development of Russian art is priceless – your paintings made with subtle psychological insight and knowledge of human sole are on displays in the world’s best art galleries and expositions.”
