On the evening of 18 June 2017, some neighbors had a conflict in a block of flats in Sobolev Street in the city of Yekaterinburg. A 4-year-old child got injured during the conflict. According to preliminary information the child hit his head on a wall. Police launched a check in the incident.

Considering that protecting minors against criminal intentions is a priority of the Investigative Committee, the Sverdlovsk Region Office has requested to take over the check.

If the check is passed on from the police to the Investigative Committee, investigators are going to run a thorough check into the incident to find out all the circumstances surrounding it and to give it impartial and tough legal assessment.
