A court has recognized the evidence gathered by the Bashkortostan Office of the Investigative Committee as sufficient to convict a 56-year-old woman from the city of Ufa. She was found guilty of torturing a minor under Part 2, item “d” of Article 117 and execution of work that does not meet safety standards and intended for children under 6 years of age under Part 2, item “b” of Article 238 of the RF Criminal Code.

The court and investigators have revealed, that on the morning of 28 March 2017, the 56-year-old baby-sitter put a 1-year-old baby in a crib so that it didn’t bother her while she was watching TV. However, the baby started crying and putting the baby-sitter out of temper. Aware that the small baby was defenseless, she took him and then hurled into the crib. The baby went on crying and the woman hit him several times.

The woman has gotten a suspended sentence of 3.5 years in prison.
