In Crimea, case over emergency van driver handed down to regional investigative authority

The Crimea Office of the Investigative Committee has requested to take over a case over beating of an emergency van driver opened by police in deliberate infliction of minor bodily harm under part 1 of Article 115 of the RF Criminal Code.

According to investigators, on 25 June 2017, at a gas station, a 30-year-old man beat the driver of emergency van transporting a child to hospital.

By now the suspect has been detained, while the investigators are looking into all the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
