Alexander Bastrykin visits Arnek investigation children’s center

Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has visited today Artek International Children’s Center to talk to the children who are spending their holidays there and to discuss with its administration the camp’s development.

The senior officials of the Investigative Committee have always paid close attention to not only protection of children’s rights, but the development of children’s movements and talking to the younger generation. The Investigative Committee and Artek have an agreement on cooperation under which students of the Investigative Committee’s Academy and employees of the agency have prepared and are successfully implementing a vocational guidance program for children Young Investigator. The program was highly praised by the commission at the All-Russian forum of children’s holiday organizers Children’s Camp – A New Education Space allowing the Investigative Committee to present its new ideas at Artek. Students of the Investigative Committee’s Academy hold interesting practical sessions for children on basic criminology, helping them choose their future profession.

The Crimea Office of the Investigative Committee takes active participation in the activity of Artek providing all necessary assistance with not only preparing themed sessions, but supporting the cam’s daily activities.

The Investigative Committee interacts with the younger generation to develop their legal culture in the first place, high level of which is the guarantee of healthy civil society and foundation of a state governed by the rule of law.
