Following order of Alexander Bastrykin, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, a criminal case opened by the Sverdlovsk Region Office of the Investigative Committee in failure to pay wages to workers of ZAO Nizhny Tagil Insulation Plant, a close corporation, under Part 1 of Article 145.1 of the RF Criminal Code, has been requested for a check by the Central Office of the agency.

According to investigators, the plant owes wages to 195 workers for a period between April 2016 and January 2017.

Mr. Bastrykin ordered that fullness, quality and intensity of investigative operations should be checked and that steps should be taken to restore violated rights of citizens and to bring those guilty to justice.

The investigation is under personal control of the Chairman.
