Accomplice of deputy director of Federal Penitentiary Service Oleg Korshunov detained

The Head Office of the Investigative Committee continues investigation against deputy director of the Federal Penitentiary Service Oleg Korshunov, charged with two counts of grand embezzlement under Part 4 of Article 160 of the RF Criminal Code. According to investigators, actions of the accused and his accomplices caused the Federal Penitentiary Service a damage of more than 160 million rubles.

Svetlana Alekseyeva, deputy head of the finance office of the Federal Penitentiary Service (before that – deputy head of the administrative support office) has been detained today. She is suspected of accessory to embezzlement under Part 4 of Article 160 and part 5 of Article 33 of the RF Criminal Code. She is being questioned.

The investigation continues.
