The Todzhinsky District police received a report yesterday at 7 PM, that dead body of a 10-year-old girl with signs of violent death was found in a detached house. The Tuva Office of the Investigative Committee opened an investigation in murder of a child under Part 2, item “c” of Article 105 of the RF Criminal Code.

Urgent preliminary investigation has found that the body was found at 6:30 PM, in the house she lived in in Rabochaya Street in the settlement of Toora-Khem. The girl’s 44-year-old father has been held on suspicion of the crime.

Investigators have examined the crime scene and seized physical evidence. A postmortem will find the cause of death. Necessary investigative operations are underway to find out all the circumstances surrounding the crime.
