A single-floor house caught fire in the early morning of 10 December in the settlement of Arkhiyereyevka, Usolye District. 4 adults and an 11-month-old baby died in the fire. The Irkutsk Region Office of the Investigative Committee has opened an investigation in reckless homicide of two or more people under Part 3 of Article 109 of the RF Criminal Code.

At present, investigators are working at the fire site. A tentative reason for the fire is a short circuit. The bodies have been sent for a postmortem. The investigation continues.
