Probe launched after 12-year-old boy goes missing in Khabarovsk


Dmitry Pykhtin, 12, left a hospital in Zheleznodorozhny District of Khabarovsk (Gorky settlement) on 18 December 2017 and is still unaccounted for.

The Khabarovsk Territory Office of the Investigative Committee has launched a murder investigation (Part 2, item “c” of Article 105 of the RF Criminal Code).

At present, investigative and search operations are underway to find out all the circumstances surrounding the incident. A massive search operation is ongoing involving the chief and investigators of the Zheleznodorozhny District Investigations Department, chief and criminalists of the regional forensic office, police officers of the city and regional police force and volunteers.

Boy’s description: height – 130 cm, medium build, brown hair, brown eyes.

He was wearing a grey winter jacket, grey waterproof nylon pants, a striped hat (brown and grey), grey boots.
