Alexander Bastrykin orders control over check in turn-over of bus in Komi

The Komi Republic Office of the Investigative Committee continues checking turn-over of a bus.

On the night of 24 December 2017, A Mercedes bus en route from the town of Veliky Ustyug to Cheboksary capsized into a ditch in Sysolsky District, Komi at a section of a motorway kinking Kuratovo and Shiroky Priluk. According to preliminary data, 12 people out of 49 aboard the bus were injured, including 4 minors. 6 people, including 1 child, were taken to hospitals with a range of injuries.

The site has been examined and the passengers are being questioned.

The investigators are going to see if there were signs of unsafe services under Article 238 of the RF Criminal Code.

Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has ordered that the check should be taken under control and that the circumstances surrounding the accident should be looked in in the most thorough manner.
