One of the bravest and most courageous holidays, the Emergency Rescuer’s Day, is celebrated today. On that day Alexander Bastrykin on behalf of himself and the Investigative Committee congratulated Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Disaster Relief Vladimir Puchkov, the team of rescuers and veterans of the most humane profession:

“Your work is the example of courage, valor, selflessness and loyalty to the duty. From the moment it was established, the Ministry has proven its efficiency and ability to quickly respond to threats and emergency situations however difficult they may be. High-class specialists, true professionals ready to help people at any time work in the Emergency Ministry. You have saved thousands of lives, prevented many tragedies and responded to mass natural disasters, accidents and man-caused catastrophes. I am sure that high level of professionalism, responsible attitude, enormous expertise and experience of Emergency Ministry’s personnel keep on guaranteeing peaceful and safe life in our country.”

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee wished rescuers sound health, happiness, wellbeing, peace, good and success in their service for the benefit of the country.
