Man suspected of killing worker of factory in southeastern Moscow delivered to investigative office

The Major Cases Department of the Investigative Committee’s Moscow Directorate continues looking into shooting that took place at a factory in Moscow.

As became known earlier, on the morning of 27 December 2017, former owner of a factory in Ilovaiskaya Street in Moscow confronted the current management of the factory. He then took out a gun and made several shots. He wounded a security guard, who later died.

Investigators in conjunction with met police and Russian Guard identified and detained a 49-year-old man suspected of the crime. He has been delivered to the investigative department for interrogation.

Cartridge cases, cartridges, rubber bullets and other items relevant to the investigation have been confiscated from the crime scene. The investigators are going to analyze footage from all CCTV cameras, check all possible options of the crime and find out the reasons and contributing factors.

The suspect is going to be charged with murder under Part 1 of Article 105 of the RF Criminal Code and get a restraint. The investigation continues.
