Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has ordered the head of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area-Yugra Office of the Investigative Committee to dispatch investigators and criminalists to the scene of a road accident that left 10 people dead, including 4 children, according to preliminary information.

the accident involving a Mazda 6 and a Renault Duster vehicles happened in Oktyabrskoye District at kilometer marker 158 of the regional road linking Khanty-Mansiysk and Nyagan.

Mr. Bastrykin has ordered investigators to look into all the circumstances surrounding the accident and if there are enough reasons to ask the prosecutor’s office to pass the case to them for further inquest.
