Alexander Bastrykin orders Investigative Committee’s to supervise checks into incidents in Krasnodar Territory and Samara Region

On 25 and 26 January, some mass media reported on attempts on a medical worker on duty in Samara Region and on actions of doctors who did not help a patient in Krasnodar Territory.

On 24 January 2018, a paramedic was stabbed in stomach while attending a call in the town of Syzran, Samara Region. According to preliminary information, he was stabbed by a man in a flat. At present the wounded paramedic is being treated.

Mass media also published a video showing nurses in a hospital in Sochi pushing a wheelchair with a patient outside the premises of the hospital and left him lying on the ground. Some eyewitnesses called paramedics, who examined the man and returned him to the hospital.

The Samara Region and Krasnodar Territory investigative authorities opened checks into the incidents. Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has ordered the Central office to supervise those checks, look carefully into the facts and if there are enough reasons to give impartial legal assessment to actions of all the involved.
