A fire happened on the night of 27 January 2018 in a detached house in Dorozhnaya Street in the settlement of Ilyinsky. Bodies of five people were found on the fire site: of a 37-year-old woman, a 47-year-old woman and three children aged 16, 6 and 7. The Perm Territory Office of the Investigative Committee opened an investigation in reckless homicide under Part 3 of Article 109 of the RF Criminal Code.

A team of experienced and qualified criminalists, fire experts of the investigative office, the head and investigators of the Perm inter-district department and police are working at the scene. After examining the bodies at the scene, a forensic medical expert found no visible traces of wrongful death.

At present, the investigators keep examining the fire site and after that they are going to order forensic examinations to find out causes of deaths and the fire. They are working to figure out all the circumstances of the incident, including contributing factors. The investigation continues.
