Probe launched into head of Land and Property Regulations Directorate of Lipetsk Region


The Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a probe into Olga Kryuchkova, a head of the Land and Property Regulations Directorate of Lipetsk Region. She is being accused of committing an offence under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of Russia (bribe-taking on a large scale). The probe perpetrators also are former Kryuchkova's First Deputy Mikhail Baklanov and lawyer of the Lipetsk Regional Bar Association Vladimir Pisarenko, both accused of mediating of bribe-giving (Part 4 of Article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia), as well as other individuals.

The probe was launched based on the information of, and is investigated in cooperation with, the Economic Security Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia and the Lipetsk Region Federal Security Service Directorate.

According to the investigators, on October 18, 2016, through Baklanov, Pisarenko and other accomplices, Kryuchkova received an 8 million rubles bribe from an entrepreneur for actions in his benefit, as follows: to issue a written consent to provide the leasehold to a piece of land owned by Lipetsk Region and previously leased by another individual. In addition, Kryuchkova's accomplices, in their turn, contributed to preparation and delivery of the related documents to the benefit of the bribe-giver.

Kryuchkova, Baklanov and Pisarenko were apprehended; under the investigators motion, the court ruled to detain them.

The investigators are defining all the circumstances of the crime.
