Probe finished into minor accused of several offences committed in Perm school

The Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation concluded a criminal investigation into one of the students of the Perm Secondary School No. 127. He is accused of committing offences under Part 1 of Article 162; Part 2 of Article 167; Part 3 of Article 30; and Paragraphs A, C, G, I of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia (robbery; wilful destruction or damage of other people's property; attempted murder of two or more persons).

According to the investigators, the accused together with his underage friend – a 10th-grader of the School No. 127 – had come to the school armed with several knives to commit a pre-planned murder. They had entered a classroom and stabbed a primary school teacher multiple times, having damaged her vital organs, as well as nine young students, having caused serious and light injuries. The homicidal intent had not been accomplished, as the teacher had managed to lead the children away from the classroom. Having remained in the classroom, the accused had stabbed each other in the neck and then had been apprehended by PSF guards. They had been timely hospitalized.

The investigation gathered enough evidence, therefore, the criminal case with the approved indictment was sent to the court.

The investigation into the second minor is ongoing. A forensic psychiatric evaluation found him in need of compulsory measures of medical nature; therefore, the probe against him is to be presented separately.
