Three former staff members of bank Yedinstvenny arrested

The Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation apprehended three former staff members of Commercial Bank “Yedinstvenny” LLC: Chairman of the Board Nikita Shestakov; his first deputy Pavel Sychev; and Head of the Credit Department Stanislav Yalymov. They are suspected of committing an offence under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of Russia (embezzlement on a large scale committed by an organized group).

According to the investigation, in 2013-2015, the three former CEOs of the credit organization, while in Moscow, had provided credits for over 900 million roubles in total to enterprises not engaged in any viable economic activities.

Investigative activities aimed at recording of the evidence for the probe are currently ongoing. All the three detainees have already been indicted for the alleged crime. Moreover, the investigation seeks from court the pre-trial custody for the detainees.
