In Krasnodar Territory, probe launched into death of four people of adverse weather conditions

The Krasnodar Regional Office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation launched a probe into an offence under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Russia (infliction of death by negligence on two or more persons).

According to the investigators, heavy precipitation and rapid deterioration of weather conditions had entailed death of a 68-year-old man at his private house in Khadyzhensk. Later, the bodies of two men of 74 and 68 years and of an 86-year-old woman had been found in their houses in Stanitsa Kabardinskaya of Apsheronsk District. The forensic examination preliminary concluded that they had died of asphyxiation while drowning.

At the moment, a complex of investigative activities is being carried out in order to define the circumstances of the accident. Forensic examinations are arranged.
