Under instruction of Alexander Bastrykin, probe into attack on man with child in Moscow to be referred to Investigative Committee of Russia

Under an instruction of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, a referral was initiated of a probe into infliction of severe bodily harm to a man walking with his child, from police to the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Preliminary data reported in media showed that the man, who had been walking with his infant child, had been attacked by a driver, who had hit him with a bat several times. At that, a stroller with the child had turned over.

The investigators intend to establish the motives of the attacker and examine the circumstances of the accident, including the fact whether the child had or had not been harmed.
