Military investigators of Investigative Committee of Russia support Afghan soldiers residing in Republic of Tajikistan

In the run-up to the 30th anniversary of the start of withdrawal of Soviet troops from the Republic of Afghanistan, the representative of military units of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and father Roman, the Chief Priest of Iveron Virgin Mary Temple of the Russian military base located in the Republic of Tajikistan, travelled to Varzob rural settlement to meet former troopers of residual Soviet force and families of fallen international warriors, and supplied them with humanitarian aid purchased on the initiative and at personal expense of officers of the Military Investigative Department No. 527 of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation deployed in the Republic of Tajikistan.

It was followed by a special meeting hosted by Varzob District Administration, during which the international warrior thanked the guests for their aid and support.
